Kia ora koutou. On Sunday 30th June Mavi and I will host the annual summertime Kiwi BBQ in Madrid, well, not exactly Madrid, in our casa de campo in our pueblo de la sierra, Colmenarejo, 40 km out of Madrid. From 1.30 onwards. It could be hot, but we do have quite a lot of shade, and bring the swimming togs!

Good public transport, 631 bus from Moncloa bus station (arden 2), leaves approx. every 30 min, get off at el polideportivo in Colmenarejo (second last stop-a purple coloured building), approx. 8 minute walk.
Food arrangements: potluck style, either something aperitivo style, a salad, quiche of similar, a vegetable or meat dish, or a dessert. We will provide a potato salad and I will struggle with my unpredictable pavlova skills! We will have some basics for the BBQ but anyone fancying a decent cut of meat is welcomed to add it to the flames. And a bottle of something?
Children particularly welcomed, (and well behaved dogs!). The swimming pool will be in in action, and there is a certain amount of children games etc. Clay available for any would be potters.
