ANZAC Day, observed on 25 April, is one of New Zealand’s most significant national days. It commemorates the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) soldiers who served and died in war, particularly at Gallipoli during World War I in 1915. However, over time, it has evolved into a broader day of remembrance for all New Zealanders who have served in military conflicts.

For many New Zealanders, ANZAC Day is a time for reflection, gratitude, and national pride. It holds deep emotional significance, as it acknowledges the sacrifices made by past and present service members while reinforcing a strong sense of national identity.
