Since 2018 Kent and Laura have organised many Kiwis in Spain annual events. First with the Kiwis in Madrid for our annual Christmas party, Waitangi day drinks, ANZAC BBQ and end of summer BBQ.
We helped out with the Kiwis in Barcelona for their first Christmas party and summer BBQ. When we moved to Alicante we created the Kiwis in Alicante group. Our first Kiwis in Alicante event was for ANZAC, having a BBQ hosted by Nick and his family.
After two years in Alicante we moved down south and set up the Kiwis in Andalucia and Gibraltar community. We have had several BBQs and we will be having a first Malaga Christmas party this weekend, Saturday 16 December.
We have also organised and attended many sporting events, supporting Rugby in Spain. The Rugby World Cup in France was also a perfect occasion for Kiwis to meet up and socialise. Kent and Hamish organised a group to support the All Blacks in Lyon, France last October.
HSBC SVNS 2024 in Madrid
Our 2024 sporting events are now planned and we will attend the HSBC SVNS 2024 in Madrid, 31 May to 02 June 2024.
America’s Cup 2024 in Barcelona
Kent and Laura have already booked their flights to support Team NZ for the America’s Cup 2024 in Barcelona, Friday 11 October to Sunday 13 October 2024. Contact Kent if you would like to join us in Barcelona.
